We invite you to meet a world-renowned expert in the field of work and organizational psychology (business psychology) – Professor Robert Hogan. This forum is a unique opportunity for leaders, professionals in the field of human resources and people interested in their own development to gain inspiration from the most competent experts in this field.

The conference will offer innovations in the field of leadership and people management, point of view of successful leaders not only in the Czech Republic, but also throughout Europe, and provide a space for discussion of all participants. Keynote Speakers

Robert Hogan

President and founder of Hogan Assessment Systems, an icon in the field of business psychology and international authority on personnel psychodiagnostics, leadership and areas of organizational effectiveness. For several decades, Dr. Hogan has been engaged in a business environment psychology and personalities of managers. He is the author of “the research of the downsides of personality”, which could potentially threaten not only our career, but also the operation of the company.

Robert Hogan perceives leadership as the ability to create and maintain high-performance teams that exceed others by their performance. In his opinion, for leaders are often mistaken people who have the power to decide, ability to use politics for their own benefit, or who were just lucky and got into a leadership position.

Michaela Chaloupková

Michaela Chaloupková graduated at the Law Faculty of UWB and earned a MBA at the University of Pittsburgh. For the last 13 years, she has been working for CEZ, where she took up a position of Commercial Officer of Purchase at first. She has gradually worked her way up to the position of Director of Central Purchasing Department, which purchases for the entire CEZ Group. Her responsibilities include the purchase of all services and materials needed for construction, operation and maintenance of power plants, distribution networks, for coal mining, and for the overall functioning of the CEZ Group including procurements worth several tens of billions of Czech crowns annually. In October 2010 she became the only woman on the Board of Directors of CEZ, a. s.

Michaela personally tried not only executive, but also each managing level in the corporate hierarchy; she has extensive experience in running large corporations. In early 2014, Michaela accepted a new challenge – managing Human Resources of CEZ Group, where one of her key themes is the promotion of diversity in society. At this moment, she supervises a team of over 500 people. She is actively involved in the issues of CSR (Company Social Responsibility) and sustainable business; she manages these kinds of activities in the CEZ Group and participates in the management of platform Business for the company. In 2012, she first appeared in the Top 25 Women in Czech Business and in 2015 she ranked 6th. Currently, she is also involved in a mentoring program Odyssey supporting female management talents and in a mentoring program Together2grow. She is married and has two sons (6 and 1 year).

Rostislav Benák

Rostislav Benák founded the company Assessment Systems in 2001 and since then he has led its expansion into Europe, Africa and Asia. He facilitated and managed a number of challenging projects of leadership development and organizational changes to corporate clients in more than 20 countries. He is a respected executive coach because of his broad international experience and broad academic education in finance, psychology, psychotherapy, business economics and management obtained at Charles University in Prague University of Economics and the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain.

Milan Vašina

Milan Vašina graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Agriculture in Brno. He has been in the Deutsche Telekom group since 1997. His career started in the company as a manager of marketing communications. From 2002 to 2007, he served as a Marketing Director of EuroTel - (later) T-Mobile Slovakia in Bratislava. In 2007 he became the CEO of TMSK. Since January 2011, he has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of T-Mobile Czech Republic, and since early 2016 he has been also working as the CEO of Slovak Telekom.

Milan Vašina has extensive experience in the areas of telecommunications, marketing, transformation management of a company, the introduction of a new strategic direction and corporate culture change. He has been actively involved in both profit and nonprofit organizations. He is an external lecturer at the University of Economics.

Jan Sadil 

Jan Sadil has been in the banking sector since 1995. He has worked in Hypotecni Banka since 2001; since 2003, he has been a Chairman and a General Director. In 2014, he was awarded a “Banker of the Year”.

As a former Czech representative in canoeing, he has been close to sports for his entire life. He likes pursuing it in his spare time- he goes skiing, cycling, running and occasionally canoeing as well. Even when he chooses people for his team, while reading the CV, he never forgets peek into the column of interests. This is because he sees a clear parallel between sport and business.

Alena Pomahačová

Alena Pomahačová has been successfully connecting business and HR management for quite some time now. With fifteen years of experience in managerial positions in both sales and HR departments, Alena’s expertise ranges from negotiation and facilitation to crisis management. She believes that team dialogue supporting partnership is the most important feature of her managerial style, which also leans on strategic reasoning, selection, assessing and developing both individuals and teams.

As a lecturer, Alena is interested in the Conscious Motivation of teams and individuals, Performance management in accordance with the Work-Life Balance, and True Leadership.


Jan Bubeník
Bubenik Partners s.r.o.

Mr. Bubeník founded and has been leading a recruitment company Bubenik Partners for more than ten years. He has over 15 years of experience in professional services with functional specialization in financial and professional services, advanced technology and industrial sector (McKinsey&Company, Korn/Ferry International). During this time, he worked on filling in senior executive positions, both by local and foreign top managers. He is a member of The Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and a frequent speaker on the topic related to recruitment and leadership in Central and Eastern Europe. He is a founding member and chairman of the Corporate Council Fund Forum 2000 (fund of ex-president Vaclav Havel). Jan Bubeník is married and has four children, Matilda, Matouš, Ella and Mikoláš.

Ivana Čermáková
Vodafone Czech Republic a.s.

Ivana Čermáková works as the Director for Recruitment, Training and Talent Management at Vodafone Czech Republic. She considers development field and adult education as her main professional specialization, which she has dealt with since 2000. Since then she participated in many projects in the development of individuals and teams, both in the Czech Republic and abroad. In addition to her managerial role, Ivana was an external faculty member of Telefonica University in Barcelona, where she engaged in facilitating leadership programs for top management; furthermore, she managed workshops focused on leading teams, mentoring, facilitation skills or, for example, training methodology as well. She prepared and implemented a number of successful projects and concepts of education in various corporate environments (especially in the area of supporting diversity, internal training, and talent programs for different target audiences, etc.) Ivana is a certified coach and a mentor. She has two children - a daughter (12) and a son (8)..

Richard Hodul
Tchibo ČR a SR

Richard Hodul is the CEO of Tchibo Praha and Tchibo Slovakia. He has been working at various positions at Tchibo company since 2000. He first worked in Slovakia, then in several subsidiaries within the Group and also in the parent company Tchibo GmbH in Hamburg, Germany. As such, he has a rich experience at the international and intercultural level – in various approaches to work and the manners of communication of employees of different nationalities in many European countries - and also in different areas of business - FMCG, retail, marketing, HR, sales and e-Commerce. Prior to joining Tchibo, he worked in management and business consulting field.

Alice Punch
Punch Leadership Consulting

Alice Punch has nearly two decades of management consulting experience across a wide range of industries and geographies. A global citizen, Alice has lived and worked in Canada, USA, Europe, and the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) and has a particularly deep understanding of Central Europe.  Her core expertise lies in helping senior leaders improve business performance through leadership development, change management, talent assessment and executive recruitment advisory.

Alice has held several senior management positions in both professional services and in industry. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of Punch Leadership Consulting. Prior to that Alice served as Group HR Director for a generic drugs division of Sanofi, the global pharmaceutical leader. Her consulting career includes leadership of Korn/Ferry International’s EMEA Consumer Practice after having successfully founded the Firm’s Prague office. Prior to that, Alice where she served in a market leadership role for Central and Eastern Europe, including Russia, at Egon Zehnder. Alice began her management consulting career with BearingPoint, previously the Barents Group (a KPMG company), where she advised Boards of financial institutions in Central & Eastern Europe and MENA.

Tomáš Srb
Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s

Tomáš Srb works for Plzensky Prazdroj since 2011. As the Head of Talent Management CZ/SK he leads a team of HR specialists and is responsible for Talent and Performance management in the Czech and Slovak markets. Tomas also works an internal psychologist, coach and mentor. He gained his experience in HR and consulting also in the company QED Group which provides services in the area of selection, learning and development. Tomas graduated at the Charles university in Prague from psychology. He also graduated from a psychotherapy at the Institute for Systemic Experience and passed many trainings in the area of people development.

Petr Janák
PPF a.s.

Joined PPF Group in September 2006. Prior to being appointed Executive Director HR PPF Group at PPF, Mr. Janak was Group Executive Officer in Human Resources at Home Credit Group and was appointed Chairman of the Board of Home Credit International a.s. in January 2007. He has a broad experience in HR consulting as well as on HR Management positions having worked at international companies like Accord Group, GE Capital or T-Mobile of Deutsche Telecom Group. Mr. Janak graduated with an Economics degree from the Technical University, Ostrava and M.B.A. degree at University of Pittsburgh.
