Assessment Systems International and all of the companies in the Company Group, each of which is a separate legal entity (hereinafter “ASI, we, us”) understands that you care how information about you is used and shared, and appreciates your trust that ASI will do so carefully and sensibly. ASI is committed to the security, availability, confidentiality, and processing integrity of all information collected. This Privacy Policy is applicable to all ASI’s online platforms, including its commercial websites and application products, administrative tools, assessment portals, surveys, and subscription pages. As a result, by visiting any of ASI’s websites you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

The aim of this Privacy Policy is to provide you with important information about how we process your personal data when you use any of our websites, particularly important information pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

2.1 Using our websites

When you use our websites we process your technical data for technical provision of our websites and providing information about our tools, services and solutions, and understand your interests. We process your technical data in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

2.2 Contact, registration for events and free login pages

When you contact us (by using any of the contact forms on our websites) we process your technical data and your contact details where you have so requested (for example: “Contact us”, Request a free login”, “Apply for an event”) and to allow you to download materials relevant to your interest. We process your technical and contact data in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. For better user experience and safer communication we use HubSpot as an unaffiliated service provider (you can find more information on their data privacy and legal compliance on the following link: http://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy We will not process your personal data any longer that is needed to and your personal data will be erased automatically from our systems and from HubSpot database after a reasonable period of time (you may request more information about our retention periods from our Data Protection Officer on the following email address: dpo@asystems.as.

2.3 Careers

If you voluntarily apply to any jobs on our websites we process your technical data, contact details and your history of employment (sent to us directly via email) to facilitate your application. We process your personal data in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

2.4 Newsletter

If you give us your consent to receiving our newsletter and/or promotional materials (this may include invitations to seminars, workshops and other events as well as surveys or other communications relating to the various services offered by ASI worldwide) we will process your technical data and your contact details. You will be able to withdraw your consent to receiving our newsletter and/or promotional materials at any time by simply clicking on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or sending us an unsubscribe request to marketing@asystems.as. We process your personal data in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. We use MailChimp to send our email newsletters. By signing up to receive our email communications, you agree to the transfer of data to MailChimp. We will not sell, share, or rent or otherwise make available any of your personal data to other parties, except that we may disclose the information to third parties who perform services on our behalf and have a need to access the information in connection with those services. 3. International Transfer of Information

ASI is an international organization, information collected on our websites or through other means may be transferred from time to time among the ASI offices or personnel, including offices located outside the European Economic Area, and our websites may be viewed and hosted anywhere in the world, including countries that may not have laws regulating the use and transfer of personally-identifiable data. ASI complies with General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and assures that no Personal information of our Users will be sent to third party outside the ASI group of companies, only if (a) you consented to such international transfer and hosting of such information, or (b) you have been informed and accepted that data transfer by reading our Privacy Policy. We only share your personal data where necessary for the purpose of processing.

ASI and affiliated companies in the company group are the primary recipient of your personal data. We may share your personal information with unaffiliated third parties who perform administrative, marketing, professional or technological support functions for our websites and we have agreements with, namely MailChimp, HubSpot and Google. ASI and affiliated companies in the company group may be required to disclose personal information by law or legal processes. We reserve the right to contact appropriate authorities when activities that are illegal or violate our policies occur on our website. may collect the e-mail addresses at the point of subscription, of users who wish to receive e-mail notification of publications and press releases in identified subject areas of interest, and of those who send us e-mail messages or express interest regarding our services or employment opportunities, or register for conferences and other ASI-sponsored events. We will not, however, share any e-mail addresses with any third party or send unsolicited e-mail to any of the addresses we collect, except in very limited circumstances as set forth in this policy.

4. Cookies and Non-cookie Tracking Technologies

Some cookies we use are from third party companies, such as Hubspot and Google to provide us with web analytics and intelligence about our sites. ASI may also use web beacons (including conversion pixels) or other technologies for similar purposes as above and we may include these on our websites and in our newsletter and/or promotional materials, to determine whether messages have been opened and links clicked on. 5. Security Processes

ASI has in place technological and operational security processes designed to protect personally identifiable information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. Only authorized employees and contractors will have access to any data provided by you, and that access is limited by need. Each employee or contractor having access to any personally-identifiable information is obligated to maintain its confidentiality. Although we take steps that are generally accepted as industry standard to protect your personally-identifiable information, ASI cannot guarantee that your personally-identifiable information will not become accessible to unauthorized persons.

6. External Links and Plugins

ASI is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any non-ASI websites to which we provide external links and/or plugins (generally for social media) from our websites. When you click on this, your personal data will be shared with the relevant external site. Once you leave this website, the processing of your personal data is no longer regulated by us nor governed by this Policy. Where you click on a social media plugin (indicated by the relevant symbol), personal data is shared with that entity. It is generally your IP address, information about the directing site, and, where you remain automatically logged-in on your device to the social media site, they will collect information about your profile. Clicking on external links and plugins is entirely voluntary; therefore, if you do not wish for your personal data to be processed in this way, you do not have to click on these links.
